The GPS coordinates above will take you to a former building spot in the center of a 59 acre tract of land and contiguous to a 15 acre tract owned by the seller and also for sale comprising approximately 74 acres.  The former building spot did have a home on it but was burned down in the Las Conchas Fire.  Aspens, Oak and lots of grass have taken over the property and surrounding area.  When you get up there you will see a corral, 3, 3500 holding tanks, septic system and a frost free hydrant.  The septic tank and holding tanks still have to be inspected.  “AH”  you say, “there must be water”?  And I answer, yes there is a well that is 362 ft deep and does produce plenty of water.  The well and well house are still in good shape, but the set up for the water line burnt.  “AH” you say, “there must be electric in the area”,  sorry, no electricity, the home and the well were operating by a generator and solar.  The majority of the property sits at an elevation of approximately 8600 ft.  The property is located approximately 10 miles from State Highway 4 with the first 9 miles being maintained by Sandoval County.  The final 1.5 miles is not maintained thus the property is not year around accessible, but there is one owner that maintains the road during the Winter, but the maintenance is not automatic and not guaranteed, thus, it is still considered not year around accessible.   This 74 acres has lots of privacy and seclusion.  At one time there was an elk permit that was given by the  NM Game and fish.  You will have to apply for the permit again and it is not guaranteed.  For those who are hunters, the property is in Unit 6C.  This 74 acres is a real nice tract of land set up more for recreational purposes but with the right equipment, it could be year around.  The property is about 20 miles from downtown Los Alamos and in the Cańon Del Norte area
